Let's begin this journey together
Today I turn 30 years old! There was a point in my life where I didn’t think I’d ever see 30. The last 5 years or so of my life have been very difficult. I was drugged and raped which led to PTSD, major depressive disorder, and severe anxiety. I felt and sometimes still feel, worthless, hatred towards myself and my body, at fault, and at times suicidal. One of those suicidal times led to an attempt. Luckily I am still here today to celebrate my 30th birthday with my friends and family! I don’t think I would have made it without the support of friends, family, and therapy. Thank you to all of those who helped me through. You know who you are ❤️
I have overcome a lot and am happy to be here today sharing my story with others and motivating and inspiring people with my positive outlook on life. I know life can be hard but I also know life can be kind and rewarding. If I were not here today, I wouldn’t have gotten to see my nephew grow up. He’s already 3! If I were not here, I would not have gotten the chance to work for an awesome company like the one I work for today. If I were not here, I wouldn’t get to experience all the awesome traveling that I get to do and see the world! If I were not here, I wouldn’t be able to inspire and change the lives of many. If I were not here I would not be able to move to Chicago and start fresh!
Surprise! I’m moving to Chicago! This is the news that I wanted to share with everyone! Tomorrow I will officially be moving to Chicago! As you have read, I have been through A LOT! This move is to get a fresh outlook on life and to become more independent and make new friends and inspire new people. I can’t wait to see what this new adventure in life brings me! It’s going to be amazing! I will miss all my Michigan friends and of course I will miss my family, but Chicago isn’t that far!
So many exciting changes to start off my 30s! I think this will be my best decade yet! Thirty, flirty, and thriving! I’m free to be me, free to be bisexual, and excited to meet new people and inspire and motivate anyone who will listen to me! Thank you for all of you who have been on this long journey with me! It’s not over yet and more awesome things will be coming! I can’t wait to keep sharing my story with everyone! I love you all!
